Decorating Den Interiors, DDI is pleased to introduce you to Team Tatera. It is led by Donald Tatera, Allied ASID, DDCD and DDI's 2nd Place Dream Room Winner and past Runner Up for Rookie of the Year. He is a multiple International Award Winning designer and owner in the 2005 - 2009 Region of the Year. In May of 2009, Donald was elected by his DDI peers to serve on the Leadership Council for his first three year term. Donald began his Interior Design career after graduating from the University of California, Riverside, Interior Design program. He also holds a BA from University of Redlands and also has his CA General Contractors' License, #917857. With this license, his team can design and have your dream room built beautifully, whether a kitchen or a bath. Prior to owning his DDI business, he gained years of valuable design experience working for several design and furniture firms. Donald keeps current not only through Decorating Den's extensive training, but also by being an active member of ASID, the American Society of Interior Design, and also the National Kitchen and Bath Association, NKBA. This continuing education is further supplemented monthly by rigorous and extensive training through Decorating Den. In May of 2009, one of his High Desert design projects was published in "Decorating...the Professional Touch," which is available at bookstores and online everywhere. Mr. Tatera's design philosophy is smart and simple. He believes that each design project is like putting a unique puzzle together. It's his goal to provide creative solutions to each clients design dilemmas that make their world more beautiful, one room at a time. To that end, he and his talented interior design team work tirelessly with each client to create an interior design plan that reflects their individual taste, style and personality. From concept to completion, we take care of it all from one small window to a whole home or office. When not busy helping clients beautify their home or office, Mr. Tatera wholeheartedly believes in giving back to his community. He and his wife are very active members in the Apple Valley, Victorville, Helendale and Hesperia Chambers of Commerce; are Board Members on the Victor Valley Community Concert Association; on the Board of Directors of the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce, an Apple Valley Parks & Recreations Commissioner, and also with the Apple Valley Rotary Club; and he's active in the Victor Valley British Car Club. His business also makes donations to amazing High Desert charities such as the American Cancer Society, Love Hope Strength.org and the Assistance League of the Victor Valley. Lastly, being a fan of baseball and of those pursuing their lifelong dream, his business loyally supports the High Desert Mavericks baseball team and its talented players.
