Let me introduce myself.  I'm Cheryl Smith and I've been helping area homeowners beautify their homes since 1995.

My design philosophy is smart and simple.  I believe that rooms need to be beautiful, comfortable and functional.  Family, friends and relatives should feel welcome and at ease in any newly designed room.  I also enjoy helping my clients fill their rooms with treasures that are meaningful to them-either family heirlooms or other important and irreplaceable items.  To that end, I work with each client to create a design plan that reflects their individual tastes and interests.

I have had a few highlights in my design career.  Most recently, I was awarded First Runner Up Decorator of the Year 2007 in the International Dream Room contest.  My award winning bedroom makeover in Chatham, NJ also won First Place in the Bedroom Category.  My work has also been featured on HGTV.

When I'm not busy decorating, I serve as Vice President of our local Chamber of Commerce, and work on fund raising activities.  Recently, Interiors by Decorating Den raised over $100,000 for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

As owner of Interiors by Decorating Den, I can provide a wide breadth of products from custom designed window treatments to carpeting and area rugs, wall coverings, custom furniture, lighting and accessories.  I pride myself on working creatively within each of my client's budgets and lifestyles.  And my shop at home service has saved my client's countless hours of endless shopping for just that perfect item.
