Marg's design philosophy is smart and simple. With over 23 years experience, she believes that spaces need to be beautiful and functional, and should actually renew your soul. To that end, she works with each client to create a design plan that reflects the homeowner's taste and personality. Marg has won numerous awards in sales, leadership, business and has multiple design awards. Marg's work has been published in magazines such as GTA Homes, Decorating solutions, Canadian Homes and Cottages. Three books, Decorating for the First Time, Creating Great Guest Rooms and Dream Windows featured fabulous rooms she has created. Television Credits include HGTV and Rogers Cable. She has represented her fellow Canadian franchise owners on The Leadership Council and uses her design and business skills to help guide new owners. When she's not busy helping clients beautify their surroundings, Marg wholeheartedly believes in giving back to her community. She has been an active fundraiser in her company's support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. She also participated in breaking the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest chain of human pink ribbons, where her company raised over $25,000.00 for the foundation. In addition Marg has served on the boards of several local business organizations. She's proud of her 20 year association with the Greater Dufferin Area Chamber of Commerce, where she has been a past Director and chaired on many committees. As owner of Decorating Den Interiors, Marg can provide a wide breadth of products from custom designed window treatments to carpeting and area rugs, wallcoverings, custom furniture, lighting and accessories. She prides herself on working creatively within each client's budget and lifestyle and her shop at home service has saved her clients countless hours of endless shopping for just that perfect item.
